In the 1960s, with a view to obtain synergy, the Group decided to integrate its palm oil business by setting up palm oil mills in its plantations to process fresh fruit bunches (FFB) into crude palm oil and palm kernels. This has enabled the freshly harvested FFB to be speedily delivered to the mills which then process the harvest without delay, thus ensuring the production of high quality crude palm oil. Apart from processing its own crops, the mills also provide services to other plantations and smallholders.

The strategic locations of the Group’s mill make them popular with smallholders.The Group has a total of six palm oil mills with a combined processing capacity of 250 metric tones per hour. These mills are situated in various locations in the major oil palm producing regions in Peninsular Malaysia and Indonesia.
